Professor Nigel Peake
Head of the School of Physical Sciences
Nigel Peake has been Head of the School of Physical Sciences in the University of Cambridge since 2020, and before that he was Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics.
Since 2003 he has held the title of Professor of Applied Mathematics, and his research interests span the areas of sound, vibration and hydrodyanmic stability, with much of his work joint with industry. He is a Fellow of Emmnanuel College, Cambridge.
